SOSOLISO AIRLINE INTRODUCES MOBILE RESERVATION SERVICE


Sosoliso Airlines, the 2004 best domestic airline of the year award winner has introduced a mobile
reservation service that enables her customers to make reservation or enquiry from their GSM handset. It is called the Sosoliso Mobile Reservation Service, SMRS.

This novel idea offers Sosoliso customers a working hour reservation service and the full convenience that a mobile phone offers. With the SMRS, customers can now make reservation from the comfort of their office, home, car or anywhere they may be, and at any time of the day. In addition, this self service option offers executives the opportunity of making their own
reservation without passing through a third party.

The introduction of the Sosoliso Mobile Reservation Service (SMRS) as a convenience scheme is an addition to existing wireless booking options available to her customers. These are the internet reservation service and dedicated telephone lines. The SMRS adds value to the over 5 million functional mobile phones in Nigeria today.

To make reservation on the SMRS, all the customer needs do is to text in his or her route, names, day and time of travel and send to the number, 08033300004. The system registers the request and gives an instant confirmation, which includes a cut - off time for ticket purchase.

For enquiry, the customer puts in the route with a question mark and then sends to the same special number. The system responds indicating also available fares.
